Some people don't know if they have a Google account but if you have Gmail then you have an account. If you can leave reviews online for other businesses than you have a Google account.

Along with optimizing your company on Google, you should have your website optimized. On page SEO is critical for Google to "know" what your company is about so it can serve up your business to searchers. Without that, you won't be found on the Internet.
